Convert your Sohodox DB to MS SQL Server Express based DB

To Convert your MS Access DB to SQL Server Express based DB:

1.Start Sohodox.
2.Login to Sohodox.
3.Click on the Tools tab on the Ribbon bar..
4.Click on the Convert DB button. The Convert DB dialog will be launched.
5.Select MS SQL Server Express Edition from the New DB Type dropdown. The MS SQL Server Express -Settings dialog will be launched.
6.Enter the connection information (please use SQL Server Authentication and not Windows Authentication)
7.Click the Test button to check if the Connection is successful.
8.Click Ok close the dialog.
9.Click the Convert button.

 

Note:

Once you convert your DB to SQL Server Express, you will not be able to convert it back to an MS Access based DB.
