Change the preferred indexing method

You can change the preferred indexing method for Text Extraction & OCR. The default method is Text Extraction then OCR

 

To change the method:

1.In Sohodox, click the Sohodox button (the round button on the top left) >> Options.
2.Click on the 'Advanced..' button.
3.Select the option PDF Indexing method on the left. Click the Edit button on the right. The 'Advanced Settings Editor' dialog will be launched.
4.In the drop down, select the preferred option.
5.Click OK.
6.Click Close on the 'Advanced Settings Editor' dialog.
7.Click OK to close the Options dialog.
 

 

Note: The preferred indexing method will change for both Background indexing (Automatic) and Manual Extract & Index.
